It is extremely important to note that accomobility.com is not designed to audit or “rate” the accessible facilities available at accommodation establishments. Its sole purpose is to provide centralised information for all travellers - but with particular attention paid to those with reduced mobility, impaired vision or impaired hearing.
It should also be noted that some accommodation providers who claim that their properties are “accessible” - and who are therefore included on this website - may not, in actual fact, be suitably accessible. It is almost impossible for some establishments to be 100% compliant with the governmental guidelines.

The facilities checklist is basically an inventory of all the accessible facilities provided at each accommodation establishment listed on this website.
Many travel and hotel websites offer little information about the precise accessible facilities provided at accommodation establishments.
Such information is important for travellers with disabilities as it can mean the difference between an agreeable and comfortable stay at their chosen accommodation or an inconvenient and frustrating one.
This website aims to rectify that in two ways.
Firstly, by including “quick glance” figures in the regional directories which indicate the number of accessible facilities that travellers can expect to find at any establishment - whether they be for those requiring a wheelchair, those with impaired vision or those with impaired hearing. This will help ascertain the comprehensiveness of the facilities at any one property.
Visitors can then view a detailed checklist of all accessible facilities available at each property when they visit the relevant property profile page.
